It was tedious and monotonous, even though I beat it in 8 hours. Only about 4 environments, all ice or metal/lava themed. Only about 6 enemy types through the whole game. Story was sparsely told, unsophisticated, and obviously just a set-up for 2 sequels.
Pretty crappy game, but I did like the loot system. It was probably the only real thing keeping me going. Strange that I didn't much care for this game, yet I loved Advent Rising (that game was also set to be a sci-fi action trilogy). Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I played at a normal pace, I thought. Dungeon -> back to base to upgrade/craft equipment -> Dungeon -> back -> etc... I mean, there's not really much to do other than to go linearly through the levels (unless you repeat them). There's nowhere I can't reach. |
