It's weird that it got such bad reviews from people.
I read the first book and I loved the movie. Some critics said the pace was rushed, but I liked that it kept a quick pace because the book has such a slow beginning. I got choked up at some scenes, it was very well done. The only bad part that I could find was that the end credits song "Lyra" has some of the most god-awful lyrics ever. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
