When I heard new Joss Whedon show, I was happy.
When I heard new Joss Whedon show with Eliza Dushku, I was very happy. When I heard the plot description, I was not so happy. This sounds so cliche, it's like a rip-off of the Pretender with a girl lead. I was hoping he could have come up with a better premise than this. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Firefly had an awesome premise. Tell me another show that mixes space opera and cowboy western. It was a great universe to play around in (had it been developed further).
(and yes, the anime shows like Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Trigun, and Eat-Man '98 that all came out in 1998 dealt with "Space Cowboys", but I hadn't seen it done on live-action US television) There's nowhere I can't reach. |
