Recently, I made a journal entry about a match-making experience I've been having (and decided to ask your experiences with it!). My best friend's mom wants to hook me up with her God Son. She mentioned it to him, and it has now gotten into his head that I'm interested. He's a nice guy and all, but I'm really not. We've always been decent friends, so I wasnt too surprised when he called to wish me a Merry Christmas and talked about hanging out before I went back to school. However, when he ended a facebook message with:

... I became quite bothered by the fact that I'd have to deal with this. No one likes it when a friend suddenly has an interest that isnt mutual.
On the other hand, I have been the match-maker between one of my suite mates and a Delta Brother of mine, and they make the most adorable couple.
So I'm a bit torn with the idea of match-making. It can be both a wonderful and horrible thing.
What do you guys think? Gech mentioned having some horror stories... let's hear them. What are your experiences with match-making? Is it a good or a bad thing?
