When I'm home, I work in a small restaurant... so small in fact, that one person does the cooking and one person does the serving (this isnt to say its a boring job... in fact, the place is ridiculously popular... but its so small that more than one waitress would get in the way). We dont really do anything to socialize... granted, its a family business, so most everyone is related or knew each other in some way or another before working there.
As for when I'm up at school, I work in the student center at the information desk, answering student's questions and setting up rooms that need to be changed around for meetings or shows or whatnot. We have a monthly luncheon, with free, good food, some games, and just general updates on the building. Otherwise, setups themselves are social events. Numbers of the employees sign up for the setups, so at any given time we could have 3 to 10 employees behind the desk, waiting to start changing the rooms around.
We also used to go to Pizza Hut on Friday afternoons for their buffet (all you can eat pizza for $6!!!), but that seems to have died with the graduating class.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
