A lot. I wont even go into estimations. College alone is costing them around $90,000. That's just me... not including my two sisters.
And I totally feel that I owe them for it. When times are like they are now, I'm more than willing to help them out. I dont have a huge conglomerate job yet, but I've always worked hard, and was absolutely appalled to find out that at times, I've had more in my savings account than my parents have. This is where me and my older sister differ... my mom asks for $20 to fill her gas tank, I give it more than willingly. If my mom asks my older sister to buy something for her and my older sister spends $1 more than what mom gave her, she'll demand the $1 back. And this girl just got her LPN. I work as a waitress. All in all, I feel I owe my parents a lot. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
