Drive In Movie Theatres

All the ones around here have closed down... there was one less then 10 minutes from my house, but its now been turned into the 'city green'. If anything happens there, its just small concerts or something now.

I do remember going so much when I was younger. We'd always joke about hiding my little sister in the cooler, or I'd volunteer to hide under the car seat. I dont know why they did this, as they charged by the car, no matter how many people were in it.

I remember my parents seeing a double feature... the second movie was the one we went for (I dont remember what it was), but the first was Bed of Roses or something like that. And it was so HORRIBLE! My sisters and I couldnt sit still. We always wanted to sit on the roof of the car.

The last movie I remember seeing in a drive in was Disney's Hercules and (being a huge myth buff) tearing it apart. I dont think my mom enjoyed the movie at all, because I was... probably about 12 or 13, sitting there shrieking about how Hera wasnt his mom, and how Meg actually killed Hercules, and how Belleraphon was the only one to ride Pegasus, etc.
