In my house at home, no one particularly cares... for the most part its such a shit hole that we'd usually prefer walking around in shoes. My room at school though... I usually take off my shoes ASAP, and get others to do the same. I like walking barefoot on the rug, and that would get ruined if mud is tracked in.
