Traumatizing Videogame experience?

I had some very traumatizing experiences too. In Jedi Knight, when you fall into a body of water with those MASSIVE red fish in it I actually almost wet myself as a kid. I still to this day am absolutely petrified of water where I can't see the bottom of it.

Also, Half-Life scared the living hell out of me repeatedly, and probably made me afraid of the dark permanently, it's just so crazy.

With all the new games out these days I'm glad I'm old enough to handle it now, because with games like F.E.A.R. and Half-Life 2 I'd be traumatized majorly as a kid!

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Forgot about this one. When the military first appears in the game. You think they're coming to help you, then when you first see a soldier and he starts SHOOTING AT YOU, I had to pause the game and settle for a few minutes. Amazing storytelling in this game, and that's my favorite example.

I had the same experience in F.E.A.R., when you first go into the warehouse, and you see soldiers, you assume they're your men, but then they start shooting you, I just about shit myself and died the first time! That whole game is full of surprises though...
