In that case, her graphics 'card' might be seriously damaged. Either that or DirectX or something really doesn't like her.
Does her entire screen go blue? I've seen where BSODs will provide a blue screen but not an error. (Yes, it's a very "Way to go~" moment for Windows.) She might want to try booting up a Linux liveCD (or some equivalent) to see if she gets any oddities playing games on it. If not, she might need to uninstall her drivers, use DriverCleaner, and then reinstall them. (Blah, blah: follow the instructions that come with DriverCleaner.) Past that, reformatting isn't a bad option. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
