Regardless of what I hope to be sarcasm, I don't see how murdering three girls is fitting revenge. They didn't even exist at the time of the "offense" committed by the Amish.
One could argue that the man wished to bring suffering upon whoever offended him, but--as is consistent with a murderer--it shows a lack of rationality on the part of the killer. Did not anyone notice his dislike of the Amish before?
I wish for more details.
