I only ever played through the first half of the first Max Payne game and thoroughly enjoyed it, however circumstances lead to me never beating it. When the second game dropped and the physics were hyped up, I went out immediately and bought a copy for the PC. The gritty storyline mixed with intense gun-play and an incredible soundtrack made Max Payne 2 one of my favorite games, and to be honest this trailer gives quite a bit of hope that this film won't suck and may even stay true to the game in some aspects.

HOWEVER, what the fuck do these Demon's (Gargoyles, whatever) have to do with anything? Unless they're apart of a dream sequence from the first game that I never saw, I'm completely confused; looked as if they're apart of the actual plot and not just a dream sequence judging by how many times I saw them in the trailer.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
