Tattoos. Where do you stand on them?

I was having a discussion with a friend of mine about tattoos yesterday. He is completely opposed to them and even refuses to date a girl who has one. He dispises them so much that whenever we go out i have to have mine covered otherwise he walk next to me let alone talk to me, instead he'll sulk for a couple of hours.
Anywho I was just wondering where the people of gamingforce stood on tattoos. I'm personally not against them I have 2, one on my shoulder which is a shooting star and 3 sixes on the back of my neck. I thought them through and both have a meaning to them.
So what do you lot think? Are you for or against? Do you have any?

you make an excellent point AliceNWondrland. My tattos do have meaning to them for me, especially the 3 sixes because I was born on friday 13th and have always ben told by my parents i have 3 sixes tattooed on my left ear that only show up when i've been very naughty. Although I haven't killed anyone yet by using my anti-christ powers it's always been a theme so i think it will mean something to me later in life.
but I agree that some people just get them for the fun of it without thinking it through and regret it later in life. I know a few people who've done it and really hate it now.
