No, I don't believe that it makes sense that they cut him out...
Actually, the seems a bit ridiculous to me. The whole aura to the films was because of him. He carried that with him in King Kong (the insane voodoo wielding natives v.s. the orcs in LoTR), and I believe he will carry that with him throughout the rest of his career. The Hobbit is, however, a bit different than the rest of the books. I suppose it will only depend on what director they get. Someone that's lucky enough to be as successful as Jackson doesn't come around as often as they seem to think, however. Most amazing jew boots |
Actually, I think that there will be a lot of eager directors standing in line to undertake this project just to get their name out there.
Peter Jackson isn't the only person on the face of this planet that can make a good LoTR prequel. He just might be the only one that can do it with the LoTR's fan's approval. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
