Games that Need to Be Ripped Thread

I remember this thread being on the General Game Music Discussion forum before the crash, so that's why I'm placing it here.

Basically, this is a place where if you know there's a game that needs to be ripped or is missing some music...you can make it be known here. Rippers can check here from time to time to see if they are able to fulfill requests. So, post away.

PLEASE post the system(s) the game you want ripped is on and please post the correct name of the game. I don't want to go searching for them. Your request will not be added unless you post the correct system(s) that it is on.

I have something called Legend of Dragoon Complete which,

I believe, features 33 additional tracks that were not

included in the OST. Is that it?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Did anyone ever do Earthworm Jim for the Genesis? I was

aware of an SNES release, but not a Genesis one.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Yeah, I'm going to request the same thing. Trust me man, it makes life a hell of a lot easier.

Because of this last section of requests, I think the N64 is gonna get its own section. I'll move all of that later.

I don't want to sound picky, but would you mind listing "Wario Land 4" as "Wario Land 4 - Sound Room"? That's what was requested, and that was what I did. There already is a rip out there of all the other tracks. Just trying to avoid any possible confusion, thanks.
You're welcome, and I took care of it. Thanks for the correction.

Hope you all like the new layout also, I've been wanting to do it for a while now.

I wanted to do it myself with SMC for the PC (released in Europe. I don't live there, but I have it anyways. It's my secret ), but when I tried recording the music from the sound tests, the sound would crackle and studder now and then for no apparent reason. The only apps running were SMC, Adobe Audition, and my AntiVirus.

if anyone can tell me how to cure this problem, do let me know and I will rip the music myself. Or if someone else wants to do it, I can "lend" them my copy of SMC if they don't have a version for one of the consoles already
So you're just wanting the music from the cartridge games or the music from the menus, or both? Check the volume on your recording control and make sure you selected Wave/MP3 on the Recording Control. Sometimes if you have the recording control volume too high it'll crackle. If that's not it then I have no idea what it is at this point.

This site is good since they recorded Sonic 1-3 & Knuckles with emulators. http://sonic.planets.gamespy.com/games.php

Also, check some of the FTPs here.

Okay, I'm gonna put in a request of my own here. Dragon Quest VIII for the PS2. I know there's an OST already released for it but the music on the OST sounds SO much different from the music I hear in the game. PSF2 set also sounds exactly the same thing as the OST. I'd rip it, but I haven't completed the game yet and I've spent over 50 hours on the damn thing...not cool! I'm only requesting the tracks from the OST reripped in-game from the PS2, this does NOT include the 7 disc Symphony Suite.

Shouldn't be. This was true for MGS2: Substance and Shadow the Hedgehog (ugh). I don't know why someone would change music just because of a different platform.

If nobody hasnt done it... please put in the request list, I'm just getting my old PSX collections and I will probably rip them in the future. I would like to request Pocket Fighter (PSX) as well.
Added. Now I could've sworn I saw Ogre Battle somewhere on the FTPs, but I might also be thinking Tactics Ogre or something like that...or it could've been Ogre Battle for another system. I'll keep an eye out.

Sega Saturn - Shining the Holy Ark (I hate the arranged version so many people have)

Genesis - Ghostbusters (what? does no one have this one)

NES - Little Nemo - The Dream Master
Journey to Silius
Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers
Batman

I am tempted to hire Boba Fett to find these.. some dude in Berkley told me where I could get in touch with him.
Yeah, all the nes ones can be found as nsf's on zophar.

As for Ghostbusters for the Genesis, get something that'll play vgms like in_vgm for winamp and then go here. Actually, you can get the in_vgm over there for winamp if you want on their home/main page as well.

By the way, that's the first time I've seen a request for a game on the Saturn. I'll place it in Retro Systems for now.

Edit: I also see that this is your first post. Welcome to GFF.

Kaleb, is that the same game? I saw that one too on Zophar and checked to make sure it was the same game. It didn't look like it.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Welcome back Blue_Kirby! I made the corrections, thanks for the info!

Jam it back in, in the dark.
