O...M...F...G! While I want to see how the game turns out, this is some very awesome news! Seriously, who would've thought that the first time these two met would be at the Olympics? Should make for a very interesting storyline. You have to wonder how it's going to work on the Wii and on the DS. Guess we'll have to wait and see when videos will probably start popping up in May.
Sonic in Brawl would be awesome. Also, I doubt Brawl would come out in June. That's just Gamestop's placeholder until they find the real date...unless this has also been confirmed? Still, I can't wait for the Olympics now. ![]() Jam it back in, in the dark. |
No...no way in hell would it be like Shadow the Hedgehog. Even I'll admit that would ruin the game. I hope that the six characters that are confirmed to be in the game aren't the only characters. You'd think they would at least put Peach in there since she's been apart of Mario games longer than Yoshi.
Now I'm also curious to see if Koji Kondo will be involved with the music. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
You know if Wario's in there, then Waluigi is definitely going to be in there with him. As far as Mario sports games go, ever since Tennis for the N64 those two have been inseparable. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
If anyone played Sonic Adventure 2 and went to the Chao Lobby, you'd see Eggman running around on his own two feet. Better yet, he was in Virtua Striker 2002 and he was the biggest guy in the game. Had to make up for all those small chao in there.
![]() I really wish I could use my Power Pad on this game because that's what it's shaping to be like. Anyone remember the Power Pad? Fun stuff. Most amazing jew boots |
Got my copy today and I will say it's at least worth a rent. It seems more like a multiplayer game than a single player. I can't get the 100 meter dash down but everything (that was already unlocked) can be quick to catch on.
Also, the characters aren't shiny. Sonic has his Sonic Adventure 2 look which is a plus. Most amazing jew boots |
There's a section in the game called Gallery that gives you history info about the Olympics after you complete a book in a minigame. There's 5 books (5 challenges) for each minigame. If you complete the challenges, you can listen to new music in the Gallery. The first ones to be unlocked were the Overworld BGM from the original Super Mario Bros. and Green Hill Zone from the first Sonic game. It even fades out and then restarts the track. I just thought that was kinda neat.
Oh, and the music now plays while you're playing the minigames too. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
