This makes me a very happy boy. Sonic SatAM was the first Sonic cartoon series I ever watched and it was something else. I mean, it didn't really stick much to the video games other than Sonic was fighting with Robotnik. Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog was closer to the Genesis games than the others. Sonic, Sally, Antoine, Rotor, Bunnie, Dulcy, Tails, Uncle Chuck, Robotnik, Snively...man I've missed these guys.
I'm definitely getting this (and Captain N in February) because this is the greatest stuff I could have ever grown up on. Hopefully they'll go on to do AoSTH, but I think this is what I've mostly been waiting for. Preorder and save 25% too? You're too kind Amazon.  Most amazing jew boots |

I'll definitely be getting Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog to go along with the Sonic SatAM series this year. Add in Captain N and the soon to be released Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 later this year and Shout Factory is winning us over with all these old video game cartoons.
 SatAM is probably one that I've been looking forward to the most though, because even after I torrented all the episodes, I still did not watch the last ones. Dunno why, but with this DVD release I'll probably watch it all the way this time. There's nowhere I can't reach. |

Got the box set from UPS today and damn does it bring back memories. Also, the artwork they did for the dvd boxes, cases, even the dvd's themselves...I'm just amazed they did that. It's so great. I'd rather not tell you what it is since the DVD isn't really supposed to come out until tomorrow (Amazon was a day early for me), but whoever was in charge of designs did a good job. Oh, Ken Penders for the cover and Emily Johnson for everything else. Great job!
9 and a half hours of running time it says. Welp, guess I'd better start watching. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

I just didn't want to give it away because I thought the DVD actually came out tomorrow...but I had gotten my dates mixed with a certain OST. It really did come out today. My bad.
