[PS2] Kingdom Hearts 2

EGM hints Towards North America release.

Now like they said this doesn't necessarily confirm a KH2:FM+ release, but you've gotta admit that it's getting some attention from many US fans.

Square Enix launched the Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix + website for Japan. It requires flash to view. http://www.square-enix.co.jp/kingdom2fm/

All the text is written in Japanese so you might not understand it, but the pictures are very interesting to say the least. Some you may have seen before, some you may have not. On the bottom right is a horn and that's the control for the music track that plays on the site. Although it's a bit short, it sounds awesome!

Yes, that is correct...at least for Japan. Now if it makes it to America, I would assume ReCoM would be english voices and english text but I have no clue how they'd handle KH2FM.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

The game is already out, I'm seeing torrents of it from a couple of places. Then again, I keep forgetting that Japan has a much later time than we do, so it's probably the real deal.

Now I thought the whole thing would be on one DVD (don't ask me why), but it seems that there are two discs which makes more sense. Needless to say, the waiting is over.

Nothing about the secret ending since I haven't seen it yet, this is more about the extras.

Right now I'm still trying to unlock the secret ending. I thought the Hades Paradox cup was bad, but the fights with Organization data are REALLY tough.

I'll probably be at this for a while, since I still have 6 data left to fight...then I gotta fight that secret boss and go after those mushrooms.

I seriously think even if they release Final Mix in the US, I dunno if I really want to go through all this trouble again for the extra stuff. Chain of Memories would be a different story. I stopped playing it because Goofy's voice was giving me a headache.

I had a hard enough time taking that bastard down when I was at level 99. This guy is just insane. However, I will mention something about the videos...the ES never once used that move that killed me so much and that was where he got you with that lightning move and you had to be careful on what you pressed on your commands or else you would die within one hit.

I'm starting to see something similar like I used against Sephiroth. Depending on how far away you are, Sephiroth will either start his ground combo or he'll teleport towards you and slash you up into the air. I didn't think there was one for the ES because I was panicking the entire time and trying not to die. :P

Good show. Got any of the videos with his Organization XIII data fights? I'm really interested in seeing how he did against Lexaeus, Xigbar, and Xaldin.

Well that interview revealed only a little more information about the knights. Yes, I felt the same way of how the new secret movie answered a few questions, but it opened up many many more.

Now here's the bit that pisses me off the most. The next game is not going to be Kingdom Hearts III, instead it's going to be a spinoff. Seriously, I was really looking forward to KH3 after seeing this video but now it's not even a part of the third game. I don't like where this is going.

Okay, now I'm confused. I thought that there was going to be a third KH with the usual cast, but it wasn't going to be the next one and that the next one was going to be a spinoff that wasn't even going to involve the main cast but instead those that were featured in the secret movie.

They had better still have a role after getting a letter from the king at the end. You can't just leave it off like that...plus I just don't see it being Kingdom Hearts without Sora and the gang in there. I've got this bad feeling that they're slowly going to drift away and not have anything to do with the story anymore, but I hope I'm being paranoid.

Wow...while I'll admit I was able to beat Sephiroth at a lower level this time around since I knew how to beat him, he was by no means easy. Same goes for the Armored Unknown and the Org. XIII rematches. Of course, I was playing in Critical Mode so two hits and I'm dead against strong enemies.

I don't believe that for a second. Look at all the Zelda games, Mario games, Sonic games, and I could go on. There are many things about Sora and the gang that they haven't cleared up or resolved so why not keep the story going with those guys?

I remember the last time they did something like that in a game where the main character wasn't the main character. Metal Gear Solid 2...and man was everyone pissed that you only played as Snake for a short time. I almost thought that's what KH2 was gonna be with Roxas being the character you played as the whole time...I'm glad it wasn't.

I'm just saying people aren't going to like it when Sora stops being the main character. If people are concerned with the whole level 1 thing...do what DragonBall Z: Buu's Fury did and start the characters at level 60 or something and have the max level you can reach to be 200. Problem solved there.
