I'd say Great Khali is about as big as Giant Gonzalez while Big Show is much closer to Andre.

It's possible that there won't be a WWE one day. I don't think Shane or HHH could carry it after Vince is retired. The problem is finding superstars that are appealing for the next generation. For those of us who were born in the 80s we were lucky to have people like Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, Ultimate Warrior, Ric Flair. In fact, I still look to the older wrestlers because they were just so awesome...maybe it's just when WWF became WWE that everything started to suck. Doesn't matter, because unlike video gaming I don't see myself watching wrestling in the far off future, except for reruns.

In Khali's defense, go back to Big Shows(then the Giant) arrival to WCW. That's pretty much all he did too and he was the champion. But he was entertaining. Perhaps it's Khali's inability to speak english that makes him unappealing.
What about Kane? I mean, I know he speaks English but back when he was first appearing he didn't even speak.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Spoiler:
Cena won by FU'ing Khali off the top of a crane. No way in hell ANYONE would kick out after that.(I also didn't know submissions were a no go)
What the hell...lose the title Cena. Nobody likes you. If Angle or HBK were still around, they wouldn't put up with this shit. Seriously, who's left to go against Cena? I guess the reason for the draft lottery is now clear. Cena no longer has any competition on Raw. Actually, draft his ass to Smackdown and bring Edge back over to Raw.

Spoiler:

Furthermore, the idea of Khali winning the title, or Umaga is just...scary. They can't talk, and Khali can barely wrestle. Him being champion=no.
Aside from Khali barely able to wrestle, Umaga and Khali can't be champions because they can't talk? What about Yokozuna? Well, I mean Banzai was clear but that's all he ever said. His managers, Fuji and Cornette, did all the talking for him...more Cornette when he joined. Actually I take that back, Cornette was their "American Spokesperson".

Point well taken SuperSonic. Actually, I thought Yoko DID talk when he turned face after so many years, but that is besides the point.

Still though, Khali is far more limited than Yoko, and well, he's also supposedly injured now.

Still, being able to talk is a fairly important part for MOST champions. Rock, Austin, Hogan, they all held the title numerous times because of their outstand promo ability (which shined even if their...ok, Hogan's work ethic was not so good).

Think of it this way...Benoit was world champion once, and nowadays I am hearing he won't again because of his [lack of] promo skills.
Khali is injured? Jeez...how many guys does that make now?

Yeah, I'll agree that mic skills are important. That's probably why I started to take a liking to Kennedy. Oh wait, another injured guy. Ugh. I see your point though, Rock and Austin could be hilarious while Hogan can talk and back it up, brother!

Benoit has a lack of promo skills? Well it's been a while since I've seen Smackdown so I don't know how much he's changed since he left Raw. Still, that man deserves to be champion because he can actually wrestle, unlike the shit that Cena pulls.

Lately I've been watching old PPVs and I've been looking at people from days of old. It's unreal to see most of the names that were around back then. Rick Martel, Jake the Snake, El Matador (sp?)...and the list goes on. It's mostly been the 1992 Royal Rumble that I keep watching over and over again.

Ah, Raw is on. Let's see if they can keep my interest for the whole two hours this week...especially with hockey going on on another channel.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Was it just me or was tonight's Raw actually good? It kept my interest for two hours, nevermind I was flipping back and forth the last five minutes, and there were some good matches tonight.

Yeah, but we all knew that was gonna happen. However, maybe we'll see that Umaga/Khali feud in the works.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Yep, khali (and Umaga it turns out too) are injured. It's just that there are so many injured wrestlers right now, that they are trying to suck it up to keep their main event spots.
Holy crap, there's no way they can keep this up. Time to get some new talent so that these injured people to rest.

But how would that work out nowadays for a champion? That was a good 15 years ago or so? I remember meeting Yoko in 1998 when he was training people in Vegas for Buffalo Jim (BWF), perfect English with a Hawaiian inflection. Shame he passed.
The manager talks and bad mouths while the wrestler backs it up. It's a formula that has worked before and hasn't been used much, so why not use it again?

And yeah, looks like we are going pre-1993, except with the WWE's website on the Internet added in. Oh well, it's not like I ever VISIT their website anyway. Now, I have an even less incentive to visit it.
Nothing wrong with pre-1993 wrestling. It's just what they need. Most of the stuff I keep going back to and watching is pre-1993. :P

I hope the next time I see Benoit is if he's on Raw and he isn't a heel. I just want Benoit to destroy Cena. Do it with a freakin ladder match while he's at it. I don't care who takes it at this point, but have Cena lose the freakin title! How long has he had that strap now? Since August?

Not to mention that Stone Cold and The Rock's feud with him was for years while Lashley's has been what? 2 months? Let's also not forget his feud with DX which started about a year ago.

What the hell...

Spoiler:
So far ECW gets the Boogeyman and Chris Benoit, Smackdown got the Great Khali, and Raw gets King Booker? Are you serious, that's the best you can do? King Booker? So much for a Benoit/Cena feud, but it looks like we might see a Lashley/Benoit feud instead. It might give me a reason to watch ECW...keyword: MIGHT.

Raw needs to get better people by the end of the night.

Double Post: Well so much for that.

Spoiler:
Bobby Lashley drafted to Raw, how's that gonna work? Ah...strip him of the title? So it's gonna be a Lashley/Cena feud coming up. Nice...and I guess Benoit can become champion over at ECW.

Well, let's hope that there's a little twist in the drafting this coming Wednesday at noon. Like if Cena gets moved to Smackdown. PLEASE get him away from Raw.

Quote:
Pick No. 1: Raw selects Paul London & Brian Kendrick
Well I guess another tag team can't hurt. In return, split up TWGTT and get Shelton some IC gold once more.

Quote:
Pick No. 2: SmackDown selects Kenny Dykstra
So much for the new MNM.

Quote:
Pick No. 3: ECW selects Viscera
You'd think they would've learned their lesson with Big Show. Guess not, at least the Boogeyman and Chris Benoit were decent picks.

Quote:
Pick No. 4: Raw selects Sandman
Sabu's gone, so this man will soon follow. A loss for Raw, should've gotten someone better.

Quote:
Pick No. 5: SmackDown selects Hardcore Holly
Forgot this guy was even around. Look at his name, he's better off in ECW.

Quote:
Pick No. 6: ECW selects The Miz
Who? Oh yeah, the guy who got eliminated quickly at the Royal Rumble.

Quote:
Pick No. 7: Raw selects Daivari(hadn't seen him in a while)
Wow, bring Hassan back. This guy is the next Gillberg.

Quote:
Pick No. 8: SmackDown selects The Major Brothers
Who?

Quote:
Pick No. 9: Raw selects William Regal
I guess this'll be the next guy that Santino will feud with.

Quote:
Pick No. 10: SmackDown selects Victoria
Pick No. 11: Raw selects Jillian Hall
Pick No. 12: SmackDown selects Eugene
Could care less about any of them. Why couldn't Cena have been traded?

Quote:
Pick No. 13: ECW selects Johnny Nitro
Shit, here's the guy who needs some IC gold back. Raw just lost some major talent. Again, why not Cena?

After seeing the list, the supplemental draft was unnecessary. I was holding on to a very tiny thread of hope that Cena would go away from Raw, but I should've known better. He's "the most controversial champ" and of course "Controversy Creates Cash". Damn, there better be a good show Monday.

How ya doing, buddy?

I hate when people say that type of shit. Personally I don't even care for the Vince death gimmick, because I think it is kind of dumb. But why do feel that because someone who is no longer even affiliated with WWE, and hasn't been for many years, dies, that now they have to change a storyline that they planned BEFORE she died because it is "bad taste"? I hate this pussy's way of thinking. It's stupid. WWE does that kind of crap all the time(political correctness), which is a big reason why i lost tons of respect for WWE and barely watch anymore.
I can understand that somewhat. It's like when they brought the Megaman Battle Network to dubbing and they changed Fireman's name to Torchman because of 9/11. It's like when the Hurricane had to change his gimmick because of Hurricane Katrina. If I'm wrong about either of those please tell me because that's the info I got out of it. I think the guys on South Park said it best about putting Muhammad on the air, either it's all okay or none of it is.

Still, the whole McMahon thing was stupid to begin with, so that would be my reason to end it. I guess we'll find out everything next week since it's a 3 hour special with superstars from all brands.

Oh and to the singing of this Jillian Hall girl...who's strangling the cat?

Well it's gonna be a 3 hour special Monday Night Raw. Who "killed" Vince McMahon? It was WCW!! Heh, just kidding. Should be interesting to see what they come up with. Oh and concerning Vengeance...

Spoiler:
Damn it, I honestly thought there was a chance for Cena to lose the title this time. Seriously, I believed that and he still comes out on top. Screw it...I already know King Booker can't do it and neither can Bobby Lashley. Randy Orton? Pfffft, not gonna happen. I only know of five people who can do it now, and four of them are out of the wrestling business or are injured.

1. Hulk Hogan
2. Triple H
3. Shawn Michaels
4. Stone Cold Steve Austin
5. Mr. Kennedy

So once Kennedy comes back, I'm putting my faith in him to take the title because he's honestly the last hope at this point. Cena's beaten everyone else on the damn roster that's main event material.

I'm just having a hard time believing this. First finding out the death of Benoit and his family yesterday was bad enough. Now I wake up and find out that he might've murdered them? This is just horrible. Guess we've gotta wait to hear what the autopsy says.
