This night just got a helluva lot better...

Spoiler:
Ladder match, hell yes! My favorite! Okay, TLC but none the less it's a variation of the ladder match. And for the WWE title.

Watching RAW right now:

Spoiler:
Good to see that instead of rehashing the 6 man tag team match twice in one night, it's a 6 man every man for himself for the Intercontinental Title. I'd like it if Masters won, but no chance in hell that's gonna happen. Still, should be cool.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Spoiler:
Hey, I was skeptical about Cena being on Raw at first. I got used to it and started to like him. Now...I still like him but not as much as I used to. I mean come on, him and Edge have held the title between each other for the majority of the year. How long did RVD have it? A month? It's someone else's turn dammit.

I will say I was satisfied with the TLC match last night. However, I'm just waiting for another Intercontinental Ladder Match with two-six people. Hell, I hope Money in the Bank becomes a yearly event at Wrestlemania. I just don't see the WWE title being ladder match material.

D-Generation X...damn I'm just hoping they don't go away for a long time. I never see people like Stone Cold or The Rock anymore, Foley got "fired", so DX is pretty much the best thing on Raw right now.

So, anyone think that they should switch Cena with Batista? Better yet, what if Cena switched with the Undertaker? I haven't seen that guy for so long since I rarely watch Smackdown.

Could it possibly be Eric Bischoff coming to TNA?

Alright, that speech just brought Kurt Angle more respect from me. It also gives me one more reason to watch TNA. Vince might be in trouble here.

Edit: Well looks like what the hell happened to Bischoff has been answered. This comes from the front page of WWE.com.

From WWE.com

Former RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff has been spotted at Ford Center - the site of tonight's RAW. What's he doing there?

Well I'll share my views on this whole wrestling/entertainment thing another time.

LOL. Wanna bet it's another lottery draft? Okay, seriously. If they bring the nWo back...it's not gonna work. Last I checked Kevin Nash was still in TNA and he's one of the original creators of the nWo. So that leaves Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan...I really doubt Hogan would go back to the black and white now. Back in 1996, people probably didn't even think that and he did. Well, what reason does he have now?

Scott Hall...don't even know where the hell he is. I'm putting my money on the lottery draft since we're long overdue for one, but the whole Bischoff and nWo bit is pretty likely too.

Now that was a good match on Raw.

Spoiler:
Jeff Hardy, new IC champion. Bout time we got a new champ...now if we can only get a new WWE champion besides Edge and Cena I'll be happy.

I'll be damned.

Spoiler:
Kane is off Raw. I thought this was gonna be like Hassan all over again, but damn. Either Smackdown or ECW is getting a nice addition. I'm not too fond of Umaga...Samoan Spike? Bleh!

edit at 10:51: Wow, I didn't see that coming. Edge and Orton against DX? I'm a little surprised to say the least.

Wow, I don't usually get to watch the beginning of ECW on Tuesday nights, but...

Spoiler:
that first match between Rob Van Dam and Sabu was pretty good. Pretty nice that RVD picked up the win...I can't tell if that attempt at a top rope hurricanrana by Sabu was screwed up on purpose or not. Same goes for the flip over RVD and trying to power-bomb him off the apron.

Yeah...I kinda figured that Lashley would win...can't believe I saw that coming.
On another note, it would be pretty cool if Chris Masters got the belt tonight. That would be pretty unexpected, wouldn't it? Because the way I see it right now, the Masterlock is somehow going to be broken tonight.

So it appears that the ECW originals don't like the idea while the "new breed" doesn't have a problem with Heyman being let go. I can already tell that some fireworks are gonna go down between these two factions. When all is said and done, I forsee that guys like Sabu and Sandman won't stick around and I don't blame them one bit.

Time to give this thread a breath of fresh air. Now as we know John Cena is supposed to face K-Fed Jan. 1...honestly, who the hell cares? 6 days later, Cena defends the title against Umaga. One way or another, Cena's gonna lose one or both of these matches.

This would be an awesome thing to happen. Cena comes out saying that even Umaga couldn't take the title from him. So he asks who the next person to challenge him for the title would be.

And that's when you hear "I'm a Real American" kick in over the arena.

Triple H will be out for 4-6 months after surgery.

They won't do Cena vs. Orton because that will interfere with the whole RKO angle. Edge will probably get jealous and want the title too.

For those watching Raw and that just saw that mock match...I only saw one good thing about it. It ended.

I didn't even realize that people like Jazz, Rodney Mack, and Gangrel were still around in the WWE. I thought they left years ago.

Bam Bam...and he was 45. Man, if this keeps up people will be afraid to be in wrestling organizations.

Anyone remember Typhoon? He's still around too, and he's about 50 years old now. Also...I've been watching some old WWF ppv's and I realized something else that doesn't happen anymore. Titles are not won/lost at house shows anymore. Remember when Diesel won the title from Bob Backlund and we didn't know about it for a few days? I kind of miss that...being surprised that Ric Flair was champion at one point and then one week later on Raw, Bret Hart is the champ.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Right now...there really isn't anyone for Cena to feud with.

Nitro is feuding with Jeff Hardy and MNM is feuding with the Hardy's
Carlito is feuding with McMahon (which is kinda funny)
Masters if feuding with Super Crazy
Rated-RKO (edge and Orton) are feuding with DX (Michaels and HHH(before the quad tear)
Kenny is feuding with Dykstra
And Khali is about as easy to understand and Eugene so theres no way they're going to give him the belt.
Kenny Dykstra is feuding with himself? LOL. Nah, I know you meant Ric Flair.

Royal Rumble last night...did anyone else feel that the ECW guys were out of place there? It just didn't seem right for them to be there. One of two things needs to happen...either ECW needs to die or they need to become a separate brand. Since neither is gonna happen, the ECW originals need to get their asses out of there and save themselves.

Out of the feuds that Slash gave, I think the Rated-RKO vs. DX one needs to end with Randy Orton and Edge eventually feuding against each other. That would leave Michaels to go after the title against Cena, because let's face it (and you won't enough of this from me) Shawn is long overdue for another title shot/reign. Where does that leave Umaga? Personally, I'd like to see him feud with the Great Khali. The only thing I could see wrong with that is it could end up in a manager switch. :P

Now my heroes growing up? Back in the late 80s when I was born there were three. Macho Man Randy Savage, the Ultimate Warrior, and my favorite back in the Federation era...Hulk Hogan. That so-called "shit" that he did against Savage was him Hulking up. Hogan for the win.

Btw, I'm watching Raw now and seeing Val Venis jobbing. Man, and he was the IC champion at one point.

After those guys left, I think I liked Bret Hart and Luger. Then HBK when he went face and won the title at Wrestlemania. However, then there was someone who was as big of a hero to me as Hulk Hogan was and that was Stone Cold Steve Austin. The man was hilarious, he basically didn't give a damn. The Rock was alright for a little while.

Now...I've gone back to HBK and HHH (before injury). Ugh...Cena in a Subway commercial. I still have a little respect for Cena, but that's gonna dwindle until he loses the title...but not to Edge. For the love of God, Edge doesn't need the damn title again.

I was speaking idiomatically.

You were just another brainwashed child, not realizing the abuse that was going on with that yellow bastard. (In Spanish that's what I'd call Hogan when complaining about him to my mom).
Nah, after watching the Anthology I don't think it was brainwashing at all. There's no other entertainer like him around anymore.

Better than Cene no? I think heels like Edge are refreshing. I like Lita too. =O
Even Cena having the title is better than Edge having the title. However, it's interesting you brought up the name Lita because I just had this crazy idea. Cena loses the title to a Diva. You heard me, a freakin DIVA. Last time I remember that idea being used was when Jacqueline faced Disco Inferno for the TV title (I think that's the right title). Can't remember who won that one, though.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Speaking of which, I remember many feuds between Michaels and Janetty for the IC title, like a best 2 out of 3 match (1 on...sometime, 1 on Saturday, last one on Raw the following Monday). Did Janetty ever win it from Shawn? If he did, then he probably lost it the next time they faced each other but I can't seem to recall Marty ever winning the IC title.

Wow...I didn't care for Smackdown PPVs to begin with but I can't believe my favorite match type was scheduled to happen for that PPV. I might've actually watched it, but now since it's been yanked I dunno if I'll even watch it now.

That still surprises me though, that they're splitting a couple of the remaining GOOD tag teams in the WWE. Then again, some of you probably aren't as surprised.

Edit: LOL...so this is their story. Taken straight from WWE.com.

Quote:
Proving truth to the old adage that the squeaky wheel gets the grease, Deuce & Domino have secured a match for the WWE Tag Team Championship at No Way Out.

After two weeks of successfully defeating WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London & Brian Kendrick in non-title action, the newcomers to the SmackDown tag scene were appalled that a title match would take place at No Way Out without their participation. The disappointed duo then made it a point to have the match killed. But Deuce & Domino didn’t go to SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long to have the match stopped. Instead, the impressive team took their complaint straight to WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Conn.

After listening to their complaint, WWE officials ruled in favor of Deuce & Domino, naming them the rightful No. 1 contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championship. As a result, the Ladder Match pitting London & Kendrick vs. MNM vs. The Hardys vs. William Regal & Dave Taylor has been removed from the No Way Out pay-per-view.

I mean hell...a TLC match between London/Kendrick and the Hardys would have brought BIG ratings.
Quoted for the truth. Just having the Hardys in any ladder match would be the highlight of any PPV.

Also, Stone Cold's coming back? Hell, I thought he was done with wrestling but even if he's coming back to promote movies, that's still cool. I miss the guy, he's a main reason why I watched wrestling through the late 90s and early this decade. Even him being co-general manager or sheriff was a hoot.
