I don't think you're at fault. You did say it was a snowstorm, so I'm assuming visibility was very poor. He probably didn't even see you in that ditch until it was too late.
I sure hope you got his phone number. You should probably call him soon, just to touch base. And like Duo said, nothing serious happened, so there isn't really a good reason to get the police involved. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
