Family Guy, Futurama, Simpsons etc. are all good for a laugh, but for people who like totally random humour, I recommend Robot Chicken. The director is Seth Green, it's only 10 minutes on Teletooon on weeknights, and it's some of the funniest shit i've seen. It's not really cartoon though, it's more of an animation...but still prime.
Double Post: I forgot Dave the Barbarian. Sure it's a kid show, but there are some subtle things that definitely amuse. Jam it back in, in the dark.
