i tried this out yesterday and played it today.
It's well made and all but uh... nothing special, everyone was orgasming about it so i must have thought it was something extra cool. It's more like ps2 gamers got a good online shoot em up.

I love the game not because of the online portion (I don't really play it much), but because of the new camera. The original game was unplayable, in my opinion, due to that fixed camera position. Now that we can rotate it in any direction, I was able to play through completely.
yes the online part, the game itself is masterful of course, i love how Kojima went back to pure gameplay and not so many movies like mgs2
