I do. I'm beginning to think I buy most of my games used, new games are far too expensive for my rate of play. Americans have it easy with game prices.
Anyway, I used to shy away from second hand titles because that always meant missing or coffee stained manuals, cracked cases and dirty, scratched discs. However, my local game store checks every disc surface someone brings in and won't even accept a game if it has a scratch, because they want to offer only games that work 100%, so lately I've not had to worry about scratched discs at all.
The only times I've had to has been when I've bought something from an auction, for instance huuto.net. I recieved an extremely busted up Guardian Heroes years ago from ebay and though it worked alright, the seller had said disc surface quality was 3/5 which was such a blatant lie I never trusted a vendor again.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
