It's not Keroro Gunsou. It's a 12 TV series that's also licensed by The Right Stuf. One of the characters is voiced by the wonderful Norio Wakamoto.

For some reason this makes me think of Orphen, even though I haven't even seen the series. It probably isn't though, the sword is too small.

I immediately thought of Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence from the written hint, even though I see nothing overly familiar in the pictures.

I can really only think of Girls Bravo, but then I don't luckily know fanservice anime, much less ones in their second seasons.

I think you're reading too much into this and that's why you're suddenly so defensive. It's not a case of something not being my bag, everyone knows I loved RE:Cutie Honey, Najica and Ikki-tousen.

I don't think it's anything to do with not having enough open-mindedness if a series doesn't contain any interesting or likeable characters to keep me watching. Seeing as so many fanservice anime ride on their fanservice, just like most action series do with their action and hentai shows with their sex scenes, they feel they can get away easier with weak characterization, as that's often very much the case (and was never the case with Gainax shows which began the whole fanservice thing. It was a bonus, not the content).

A series doesn't have to be "intellectually challenging" to be entertaining, but poor slapstick and nudity doesn't cut it. If that sounds snobbish, maybe you need an open mind too.

Something I wondered about, are manga pictures allowed this time around? They were allowed pre-crash, so I don't know if it was decreed they shouldn't be used now.

Hahaha, sorry, not Patlabor. I was tempted, but that would have been a bit too obvious. As a hint, this series has a live action show as well as an anime and manga.

And no no, I always try to pic samples I think people should be able to guess. If a series is obscure, I'll at least try to have recognizable characters in it if nothing else. The idea is to get people guessing after all, not just "Bet you can't guess where this WALL is from! Hahaa!" =P

Judging by the hint, I'm going to go with Ruin Soldiers. I don't recognize the girl, but your hint just screams Ruin Soldiers or some other related anime I will name should this one fail.

Oh, my bad. I used the plural too =x I thought it was Ruin because they explored ruins, but I guess there's a rune involved instead.

It is pretty recent. Tokyopop also recently licensed it, so the scanlations never got past chapter 12

Hikarub is quite right, it's Yubisaki Milk Tea, a completely wonderful series, despite a pretty bizarre initial set up. Great work, that's what I like seeing =D

This latest sample makes me think of Maria-sama Ga Miteru because of the building and roses, but I don't remember use of that kind of colors (though I haven't see ~Haru~ yet).

Alright, I'll take this one then.

I would encourage people to allow more telling hints in their samples, give something to work with.
It's far better to have the sample too recognizable rather than too obscure.
And just because you don't want the sample to feature one of the protagonists for fear of it being too easy, the alternative does not have to be a picture of a wall, a door, a tree, a road, or a building.

This makes me think of Onegai Teacher, but since I haven't read the manga, I'm not sure if this scene was in it.
He just kinda looks like Kei and the stagnating thing made me think of how he would get "stuck" because of his condition.
