I just saw it with Boo and disliking Underworld and having seen the trailer (which was just awfully cut), my expectations must have been so low it was an extremely pleasant surprise.
I loved the first and third Die Hards and this really exceeded itself. It certainly won't become a classic, but it was an absolute blast, hilarious set-pieces that kept just the right balance of kickass awesome and silly. Some of the hacker stuff made me cringe, but I can't help but praise the film for being a good Die Hard film. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
