I have mixed feelings about the Symphonic Poem. It is good, but nothing really outstanding. It is a just an avergage symphonic work that doesn't surpass the symphonic sophistication of Masashi Hamauzu or the colorful orchestral palette of Shiro Hamaguchi. However, with all the negatives said about the music there are a couple positives. One, it is orchestral music. Two, it had the title FFXII on it so it served its purpose in drawing many FF music fans to it,

I still don't see what makes this album more than average, but I was only expressing my opinons. I just hope that the original soundtrack will be good. I'm really excited to hear the opening track since I have heard that the opening sequence will be quite lengthy.
