I booked tickets as soon as they went on sale ! I am pleased to hear Mitsuda attending and that his Chrono music will be featured. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford VIP tickets, so I won't get to meet the composers attending ...

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I'm attending the Detroit concert, also ! I want to get V.I.P. tickets and give Ms. Shimomura a copy of my KH arrangements, heh. I just hope that by the time I round up my friends to order tickets, that the V.I.P. seats won't all be taken.

As for the Chicago concert, WOW! I loved every bit of it! I especially loved the Battlefield suite, and the Chrono Series Suite. The percussionist they featured was awesome, and his playing really fit Time's Scar. The Elder Scrolls suites were also great. I was rather impressed with the American game music contributions, and the Japanese were more nostalgic and just as entertaining. Yamaoka's performance was awesome, as well! The orchestral rock was a perfect way to give the concert some variety in styles. I can't wait for Detroit !

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Kairi Li,

I was Cow's camera-man in the interview with Shimomura . I also handed her a cd with a few of my piano works on it. She was quite flattered and asked me a few questions about it. I was surprised to see how much interest she had in my project. I'm just waiting a reply from Ms. Shimomura to see if she liked the music . I will be writing a complete and fully detailed review for Squaresound and Square Enix Music.com.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Eriol,

Actually, I did speak to her in english. Of course, Shimomura spoke only Japanese (except for some english formalities like "Thank you very much" and "Pleased to meet you"). However, there was a translator, so everything was alright .

I wonder where the next concerts will be held? I am going to keep attending until I meet Uematsu !

I was speaking idiomatically.

I think of Play! as the better event. It is more sophisticated and is more of a traditional orchestral concert. I also, since I'm an arranger and composer, found it to be a learning experience. I got to meet with some of the guests in Detroit, and it really is a great opportunity to meet those in the business. The Play! series is just more professional and I respect that. The arrangements from the tour are great as well, and I agree with Arcubalis that they need to get rid of that screen. It sometimes distracts me because I'm trying to watch the footage, and that keeps me from completely enjoying the music. Play! is a traditional concert with traditional orchestral values, but with a new era of music, and that people, is music from games .

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
