Meikai Hen = Hades Inferno arc, right?
I only watched the first two OVAs (what's taking Spectre so long?), and boy was I disappointed with them. I had high hopes after watching the Hades Sanctuary arc, which featured stunning graphics and choreography (remember the camera following Seiya's Ryu Sei Ken? Awesome). All the old voice actors returned, which brought good memories for oldtimers like me. All in all, that was so brilliant that Inferno didn't need to one-up Sanctuary. if Inferno had retained the same production level, I would have been a happy camper.
Except it didn't.
What's with Inferno's horrible graphics? Everyone looks deformed, as in 80's Seiya style deformed. We're in 2006, right? The environments look so bland, any amateur CG designer could have done a better job. The pacing sucks because the storyline is so crunched up. Why did they have to do it in six episodes this time around (which, if I read correctly, the team had to completely omit certain defining moments at the end)? Where is the original cast of voice actors? And why does the BGM sound like horsebleep in a vaccuum?
I am SO DISAPPOINTED with the first two OVAs, I have no urge to finish watching the remaining four.
My $0.02.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
