LucasArts?? Would that mean that you've included one of Michael Land's wonderful tunes from The Dig? His "orchestrated" CD of the soundtrack was so wonderfully serene, and I've so been hoping to hear it performed by a real, life & blood symphony.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

On the topic of Metroid (an important one), there was a performance of some Metroid music on the Orchestral Game Concert CDs, so there is an arrangement out there, Tommy! GET IT!
I have to agree with this whole-heartedly. The Super Metroid arrangement is one of the very best pieces of the Orchestral Game Concert series (and Video Games Live performs the exact Mario Bros. & Legend of Zelda orchestrations made for that series). It's the 4th track of the 4th Orchestral Game Concert album, which can be sampled here: http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/510

I attended the Washington performance, which was an awesome experience. Especially neat was hearing Overclocked Remixes piped over the loudspeakers before the show even began! My only wish was for increased variety (like a Super Metroid piece, hint hint ), since the orchestra played almost the exact same set I heard in Philly last year. But, Medal of Honor and Kingdom Hearts still really got to me just like before.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Allow me to say that I do have something against One Winged Angel: It's been in every VGM concert I've been to, and I'm tired of hearing it.

Allow me to say to Tommy: I'm humbly requesting that you include a track from the Ace Combat series. I would recommend either "The Unsung War" from Ace Combat 5, or "Zero" from Ace Combat Zero.
And let me say to Tommy as well: I would go with Ace Combat 4, for one reason. It's song Megalith -Agnus Dei- has equal the epic power of One-Winged Angel. And it could easily serve as replacement for OWA, alleviating your weariness of the song, Kaleb.

Tommy, you can get a quick listen to the song here: YouTube - Ace Combat 4 Shattered Skies: Megalith -Agnus Dei-
(Warning: Turn down your speakers at first, it blasts in LOUD )

Glad to hear that Mega Man is in the pipelines. Keep up the good work!

Kaleb: Honestly, after viewing the Taiwan International Music Festival performance video... there really can be no substitute for One-Winged Angel, socially-speaking. I mean... just listen to everyone screaming for it as he announces the company... the name of the game... the number of the game... then finally the song name.

Musically-speaking, there's probably plenty other pieces to play, like our Ace Combat suggestions. But to be honest, none are going to have quite the same impact, I think.
