Annoying Trends

I'm wondering which is better for trend spotting: a college campus or a high school campus. I seem to recall pointless trends in high school, but since coming to college back in 2003, some of the most tacky/pointless trends have been personally spotted here.

I agree that most of the mentioned trends so far are in fact pretty ridiculous. The only one I can think of that's not already mentioned would be those cheer skirts that went around for a little while. Basically it's a cheer leader skirt, but not "labeled" as such. In other words, one of these would be mixed with a regular top. Sometimes these would be accompanied by the Uggs. *sigh*
