From time to time, I don't mind tuning into some sports, but I rarely have an interest in hearing about it on a news station when I could just as easily flip over to ESPN to get the same information. I mean, I don't turn to ESPN when I want to get the weather; similarly, I don't turn to CNN wanting to know whether or not the Gators won the national championship.
I really don't mind hearing about entertainment all that much, just as long as it's not centered around their lives. I'd rather hear about recent movies reviews or similar topics of entertainment. A very brief segment on entertainment is fine I suppose. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
