Good distinction Ayos. Furby, it sounds like you're looking for reasons to be happy. It's a lot harder to find reasons to be happy if you get yourself to thinking that you're always just going to be depressed during the holidays. If you get used to feeling this way around the holidays, you'll find that the holidays will always cause you to feel down in the dumps because you will have conditioned yourself to feel this way.
If your friends aren't busy this month, spend some time with them. Do some fun things with them.
