Hey guys Question is, what is the best modchip available to get for it? warranty voids isnt a problem as this one came from japan and sending it back there will take weeks and cost just as much if I had it repaired here instead. :/

or is there a better alternative to playing downloaded ps2 games?

no zander, I got the stupid 40gb version with absolutely no backwards compatibility. And since living here in th philippines, original ps3 games here cost 5000 pesos, that is roughly 106 US dollars. So I only play those free game demos from the psn network which is kinda pathetic. :P

Oh and thank you slayerX, I also posted the same question somewhere and some people there recommend the Matrix Infinity chip. But if the H2) chip works good as you say (and cost less) I'll get that. thank you!

And will it be able to play the newest ps2 games released? After reading a bunch of articles it says some mod chips wont be able to play future games because sony constantly updates the games so it wont work on mod chips is this true?

all I want is a modchip that will play ALL future and past ps2 titles and can play divx and dvd movies, will h2o do that for me?
