Hi ps3 owners. I got a ps2 and it served me well. but last month my gf asked me what I wanted for xmas and I jokingly said "a ps3" and now I have it here staring at me. :P
But here in this small asia country of mine orginal blueray games cost at arm and a leg. (the console cost a 5 hectares of land  )I never tought shed get one so I didnt bother to research on this amazing looking paperweight, and just found out it cant play "back-up" copies of ps2s that I have. ;P Can anyone give me a tip on how to "fix" this?  Jam it back in, in the dark. |

Ok then that fine with me, but how about downloadable free games or demos? I just read wikipedia that this thing has a harddrive and it can even browse the internets! ;P (my ps2 was just used the simple old fashioned way, insert the disc and play, this thing is like a pc!!!) sorry Im a real noob at this new hardware

Fucking Sony. I hate them now. I just found out my 40gb model cant play ps2 games. I just bought a ps2 game a while ago and to my surprise it would play. This ps3 came from japan and all the manuass are in japanese which I cant read so I didnt know. All their ads a few months ago said it was backwards compatible and now they took it out just like that? I hate sony! I cant wait for a modchip to get out or an iso loader, Im not going to buy any sony product from now on, sheese ps3 games expensive. I shouldve gotten an xbox.

lo. sorry I ranted. :P I was just pissed as I just bought an original metal gear solid 2 that doesnt play on the ps3 when I couldve gotten this the other way heh. I thought I could dispose the ps2 since the new one can do everything as advertised. I guess not.
*sigh* Im a poor gamer. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
