I found Lost in Translation horribly overrated. That and Brokeback Mountain, which simply road the controversy wave that had people ignore that it was a subpar movie at best.
IMO anyways, the whole premise of "overrated" is a movie that everyone liked and raved about but which you didn't like yourself. It's all subjective, there's no absolute truth in these sort of things. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
