They're bound to be intertwined. I bet there's going to be some sappy ass love story between the two protagonists (slash villian maybe). He's so emo because he's not getting any.

They'd never make the main character of one major game a girl if she weren't to do something stupidly girly, like fall in love with the villian or the villian was her former lover or the villian killed her lover and she's seeking revenge, etc, etc. I'm rooting for her to kick ass, but they will make her fall inevitably under the WICKEDNESS OF HER WOMANLY HORMONES.

If this is truth, then the ending will climax in her killing him off, therefore resulting in a major tear jerker where he will proclaim his undying love. And then die.

Is the FFXIII Vs. trailer online yet? I am intrigued.

Speaking of which, "lightning" would only sound oldschool weird in English. If it were translated into Chinsese or it was spoken in Japanese, most likely it it would be like "Leigdo Lingu" or something like that >.>.

There are no Ls in the Japanese language. Every L sound would be an R, try again.

Maybe Nomura enjoys self-sabotaging, if so her name should be Fulgur (latin for lightning).
