This is a great step but I have to go out and buy a canvas bag now.
For the longest time, super markets in SF have been offering a 5 cent credit back if you bring in old plastic bags and they don't double bag your paper bags (you have to pay extra). I think that was a previous law to prevent bag waste but obviously it didn't work. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
