I always prefered Chinese beef jerky or "ro gan" (dried meat). I'm not too crazy about the smoking flavor that's usually in American mass produced jerky, Chinese jerky is usually either incredibly hot or incredibly sweet and very very tender while US jerky is tough and chewy.
And I keep typing jerky as "jerkey". Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
