Right, so far as I can figure Sam's HP actually doesn't change since canceling out the skeleton hit also means that Slim's turn didn't happen yet so no Shield of Sacrifice. Cette might want to use it anyway but we'll see how that hashes out. Certainly he won't be using Flames of Purity with no snakes around.

Cette, Deni, proceed from the initiative order in post 149, ignoring the snake's now nonexistent turn (wvlf, your turn isn't really impacted by this so you needn't rewrite). Sam will be at BO-2 rather than at BP-4.

You made this mess, you can do the retcon work on it

We've not deleted any of the fucked-up time-traveling inconsistencies up to this point, why start now?

Ok so that puts sam at 30 hp correct? -6 for the piranha's and -16 for the hit he did take.
I suppose that makes sense. Honestly I bungled up Sam's HP tracking badly during the snakebite post. If there's one thing I miss from the wiki it's the change history

If you run away and the enemy says "fuck that noise" and goes back to sleep that's a strong indicator that he is unwilling to chase you.

Now that we're on Obsidian, where can we see our stuff for combat math if we're on a computer without access to the character builder (or my printed out copies of the old-old character sheet).
Your Expanded Reference should have pretty much all the numbers you need.

New Year's Eve/Day is a gimme, but things are getting silly now.

Somebody grab Sam and make him stick his head in a spear trap or something. Strike one.

Well, skills kind of already took care of the problem this time and I'm not letting you recon, since... well, mummies.

...it's not "once per level", Rampage can trigger up to once per round. Fixed.

That's why we don't let Zerg edit our sheets. A LESSON IS LEARNED.

Though you have the same initiative total in this fight, Slim's initiative bonus is higher so his turns take place just before yours.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I can't imagine something like this would be too hard to find. Then again I haven't looked.

If we could have small live sessions, it would be the koolest.
Yeah, the actual mechanics of it are simple; the problem is just getting six people to sit still for an evening.

Right, last post and map adjusted for the fact that wvlf moved and Deni Second Chanced (as well as the incorrect curse icon). And no, nothing to do about the curse but ride it out.

Cette, Shin, you might want to check that your turns are compatible with the adjusted map.

Well, it's a trap, not a monster, so it hasn't got defenses per se. DC 30 Thievery to disarm, though.

Oh. That's a reasonable question. But none of the above, no. Just the standard smashed-into-an-immovable-object damage bonus.

Probably you can't by RAW, but I'd allow it. Really the thing's got enough HP that just disarming it would be a lot more efficient.

It's an inanimate object; it doesn't have an AC. You swing at it and you hit it, same as a door or a statue or something.

How am I bloodied? I've pretty much 2nd chanced and dodged my way out of most everything so far, no?
15 from Rain of Steel and 13 from the flame jet, right? You're a striker, you're bloodied if I so much as brush you with a feather really.

It's another D12+7 damage for the Skeleton if it was a hit.
Yeah, another 10 damage on the skelly then. Fixed.

I should have teleported to the Skeleton's side, if I'm not mistaken. The scimitars hit Beefi, therefore I get aegis attack.
Fixed (though you missed again). Map updated.

Sorry for the fuckups again, guys.

How ya doing, buddy?

There's a whole fighter build basically designed for wrestlin' dudes; Brawler Fighter. Free grabs at-will, chokeholds as encounter powers, curbstomp as a daily. Cold-cock dragons e'erday.

The ring isn't really "for" anybody in specific; I stopped doing that once I decided to use inherent bonuses to fix the balance problems instead. But yeah Barbarians (and Seekers) are Primal.

Also it's much too high level for you to seriously expect you'll be able to keep it.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Alright, alright, let's not bicker.

I updated your inventories and all that. Nobody specifically said they were actually wielding any of the four swords so if somebody intended to do that let me know. Otherwise you guys can feel free to do something more interesting than "I walk into a room I already looked at".

Nearly every room has an arbitrary list of methods that just don't work for no good reason (like locked doors that Knock doesn't work on), so I've gone through the whole module just painting over those lists with a correction pen more or less.

Arguably the dungeon as-written would be a lot harder but only as a consequence of being frustrating and stupid.

17. Added. Dang.

No Cette, please one at a time in initiative order, things might happen on your turns depending on where you are, so!

I think this is the first challenge I've run that actually involved the map; sorry for any confusion

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Yeah, a skill challenge is still an encounter so if you guys have any powers or items that might help feel free (though the people who most need a teleport are now out of the sword's range, ha ha).

"This Fucking Module" update: the tilting hallway was originally 42 squares long

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Yes but only 10 of those 42 squares are actually a threat (I added the elementals) so after the first three rounds everyone is effectively just playing Snakes and Ladders.

They'll be playing Snakes and Ladders relatively quickly, yes, but

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
