How I envisioned Wario's moveset:

B: Shoulder charge
Up+B: Jet hat Wario
Forward+B: Super head rush
Down+B: Butt stomp (if he falls far enough it becomes the super butt stomp)

Also, if he jumped against a ceiling and you held the jump button down, his hat would become the bull hat and he'd stick to the ceiling. His throws are from his games, of course. I think he'd be able to carry someone in one hand like Donkey Kong does, and you hold down B to charge up the throw, like in Wariolands 3 and 4. Another one is the piledriver, and of course, his advanced version of Mario's spinning throw in which he's also able to move around and decide where to throw his opponent.

Now that I think about, there's no real room for something ridiculous like him flicking boogers at people. He already has tons of regular fighting moves he can use.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I think team attacks would ruin the game. I seriously hope they don't do this.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Bowser Jr. is the main bad guy in Yoshi's Island, yes. But that game takes place in the past, so that was actually the original Bowser.

Seriously why the god is that dumb little bastard in this? I think he's just as bad a character as Petey Pirahna. It's a shame that Game and Watch had to leave. I thought he was interesting.

If Megaman is a "shoe-in", then so is Sonic and possibly other Sega characters. So, how many people are excited like me and eagerly awaiting the appearance of Sketch Turner?!

I was speaking idiomatically.

Popular? Don't be ridiculous. I haven't seen such an unpopular character since the WB redesigned the Looney Tunes as stupid faux-anime characters. Maybe he's popular among the Nintendo staffers but to us he's just a super lame potbellied douche who should've remained in Sunshine and nothing else.

Seriously, man. SKETCH TURNER.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

No he sucks ass and should never be seen again. He should've been sucked into the void of obscurity a long time ago; the one where Tatanga, the Koopalings and Captain Syrup reside (she'll emerge one day, I hope).

I liked Game and Watch too... I'm with you on those feelings about him getting the shaft. I mean, winning with him is amazingly satisfying and it's a shame to see him go because he's probably one of (if not the most) interesting characters in SSBM.

Okay, first of all, Space Pirates would've made a horrible choice. The characters that end up as playable in Smash Bros. should be limited to the MAIN CHARACTERS, and in no way should include just the plain regular enemies. Otherwise they'd just fill up the entire roster with stupid crap like Goombas, Chain Chomps, Rattatas, Waddle Dees and Octoroks. This is utterly retarded.

Also, if you read the thread you'd know that Cel-shaded Link is just a graphical swap of Young Link and will have all the same moves.

Zero Suit Samus isn't a selectable character; read her profile on the Smash Bros. website... for god's sake, do you even read ANYTHING? She's not a regular character addition. It states right there in that profile that under certain conditions, Samus will simply remove her power suit, rather than her being selectable. Also, that "lightsaber" thing isn't a sword, it's a whip, and it's just coming from her pistol.

How ya doing, buddy?

I really don't think Cel-shaded Link will offer anything that Young Link didn't, other than that lame little conducting wand of his, which doesn't exactly lend itself a great deal of potential to a game like this.

Actually, I don't like Zero Suit Samus at all. I prefer Samus' appearance prior to Zero Mission. Now she looks all comic-booky and ugly; far inferior to how she looked before. I can't stand it. They touched her up so that she looks a little cuter and universally appealing in SSBB but I still don't like it. Let me show you...

Samus before Zero Mission:

Samus after Zero Mission:

Ugh. I just don't like the change, really.

Maybe he's not updating the site because he ran out of newsworthy things to post in the near future? Or maybe he wants to extend the waiting periods in between updates so that the content is fresh up to the game's release? No, these are PREPOSTEROUS suggestions, right?

Well I'm not a huge VG/anime nerd (not that you are) so I don't boast a knowledge of Tokyoese. I don't know why I'd ever wanna talk to him, I don't find his music THAT great.

I keep forgetting that Snake's moronic cardboard box will be in this. What possible use does it have in a game like this?

The only thing I can think of is... well, in the video, Snake's box is in the background. So I think his box enables you to go in the background, which makes you completely invulnerable because the other characters can't interact with you. It's sort of like a really long dodge move.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I can't fathom Snake's moveset at all, for that matter. He's not in Alaska or the jungles of the Soviet Union anymore. He's dealing with people that have herculean strength, can shoot fireballs, jump inhumanly high, fire powerful beam weapons, copy his abilities, throw giant turnips and even swallow him whole.

What the hell kind of abilities can he possibly have (other than a super attack which, obviously, involves Metal Gear)? I mean, the only one I can think of is a Down+B move in which he sets C4, and it acts like a proximity mine, ruining the shit of any poor fool who walks over it... but I can't think of anything else.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Now that I think about it, the C4 would act more like a remote bomb. Press Down+B to set, Down+B again to detonate it. It does this in addition to acting like a proximity mine, but the explosion is larger when you detonate it and smaller when someone just walks into it.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

How would they render them useless? There are tons of items that give the characters the special moves of other characters. The Screw Attack, for example, and the Homerun Bat... they don't render Ness' or Samus' attacks useless. How would this be any different?

Also, him firing a Stinger missile straight down is a ridiculously stupid idea. If it's an attack that fires ONLY DOWNWARDS, why the hell is it an UP+B move?

That's completely different. The direction Fox's attack goes in is entirely your choice, whereas this supposed stinger attack only would attack downwards. Using your logic, Snake's stinger attack would have to go in any direction. In any case I highly doubt that'll be his Up+B move.

Yeah, for serious.

And about Jim, I don't know if you guys heard, but he's making a comeback (albeit only for PSP thus far), and it seems the crew that worked on the original first two games are behind this. At least, that's what I heard.

Sigh, speculation's not as fun knowing the next update on the game won't be for quite some time, and we're left basically just repeating ourselves now.

I wonder if Nintendo is going to include any of the Japan-only characters like Starfy and Lip. I mean, wasn't it like that for Marth and Roy? I honestly had no idea what Fire Emblem even was before SSBM.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
