NBA2k6 is good, but sport games are never great. Damn I can't believe I lost my condemned thread, I spent so much time on that.

Anyway, out of those five games I can't reallly pick my favorite because they all stand out differently. Graphics are insane on all of them, but Kameo probably most of all, which is classic Rare by the way. Condemned is the most underrated game of the launch by far and maybe the whole year. Story and atmosphere as well as graphics and gameplay are key here. The other three each have their own great things as well.

And no I would never rent a game solely for achievements. That is pretty retarded considering the overall score doesnt even mean anything. Games I do play though, I will always try to complete the game totally and that means trying to get all the achievement. Increases greatness of games ten fold. So far I am doing quite well on the game/achievement ratio though. I wish they didn't show the demo games I played on my gamercard though.
The Xbox 360 has defnitely grew on me. Maybe that's because it's all I have? I think I'll lean towards the PS3 more when it's released. As of right now, my xbox 360 is just collecting dust... besides when I play FNR3 which I LOVE

Most amazing jew boots

But it's probably going to be the first triple-A title or close to it on the platform.

Also, I do think the Achievement system is the best thing since sliced bread. Yeah, it can be used as a gimmick, but on the other hand, it's more of a quiet revolution IMHO than it appears at first. People like to compete and measure themselves against others. For years, we've had all sorts of bonus achievements to strive for in single player games, but networking them like this and making it a standardized system with score keeping - biggest psychological kick in the pants gaming has had in ages.
oh nice, i'll have to try that demo.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Plus, the half-assed achievements are probably only hurting them in the long run. People (such as Gamerscwhores like myself) will rent their shitty sports games more, but will actually purchase them less, which is where the money actually counts.
I have no desire for video games whatsoever. I don't enjoy video games much anymore, because I sort of grown out of that in a certain way. The only game I'll love is Final Fantasy .... almost any of them. I'll never forget the music and the game of FF7, then after that I started liking them all. Either then that, I sort of lost interest in games. I haven't finished any of my 360 games, I haven't even tried most of them... They are just collecting dust. The only MMORPG I play is ROSE Online (PC), but still if it's not a Final Fantasy then I won't be that interested :juggler:. I beat FFX and I stopped playing it, I'll never forget it. Excuse me if that was off topic a bit.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

There is no reason to pick up a 360. Trust me, I have one and it's not worth it...yet. You'll have one, then play a game or two for 15 minutes tops then get bored of it, because none of the games are that interesting. I care less about the points now, I would rather have a game that's actually FUN and worth playing. All opinion of course, but opinions do have factor points.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
