I've never played VP1, but I'm loving VP2! I'm at some rained out forest temple, and my main party is Alicia, Rufus, Adonis (one of three Einheriar [SP?] that I've bothered to level), and Arngrim, all of whom are level 20+. Leveling them in Chateau Obsession right now, because of the EXPx2 sealstone

Question, Arngrim and Lezard are in VP1 right? VP2 is a prequal taking place 100+ years before VP1...so how would Arngrim and Lezard still be alive for VP1? Do they become Einheriar and are summoned by Lenneth later? Don't give too much away, just tell me if they're Einheriar, if that's what they become.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Oh it gets tougher at chapter 3, don't you worry lol. I'm at the Palace of the Venerated Dragon...and I found a sword that I equipped onto Alicia right away...but then later, I checked her stats out of boredom or something and I saw it was gone...just gone. Luckily I kept a back up sword that works just fine but I'm bummed :/

Ugh, I'm so confused. Why have all of my front liner's weapons dissapeared in the Palace of the Venerated Dragon? It makes no sense. Has this happened to any one else? Some one explain this to me because this handicap is pissin' me off.

Ok, beat the dragon zombie in Palace of the Venerated Dragon, using the sealstone that gives everyone in and outside the party of four exp (trying to get rid of some Einherjar).

I'm also trying to level up Arngrim and Leone to 40 because they have to leave the party soon, and when they do I get some pretty amazing weapons (according to Gamefaqs).

My main party is Alicia (28), Rufus (28), Adonis (28), and Arngrim (28), so I still got a long way to go...which leads me to why I'm posting this: is there any better/faster way to get crap loads of exp? I mean, the dragon zombie is dropping me 100k+ a pop, but he takes too long to beat. I know Chateau Obsession has that exp x2 sealstone, but I dunno' if 30-60k+ a pop is much better than the 100+k a pop I'm getting now. Any suggestions?

PS ~ Is Rufus worth keeping? None of the weapons I've given him so far let him use Soul Crush, which bugs me 'cus everyone else is my party has (not counting any archer Einherjars 'cus they start out with the same if not worse bow as Rufus).

Thanks so much Cetra. And yes, I have completed all of the optional dungeons so far. Before you posted this, I decided to take everyone out of my party except for Leone and Arngrim, and I was leveling only them with the EXP x 2 sealstone in Chatteau Obsession, totally forgot about the springs. Never once thought about using sealstones from other dungeons -_- *slaps self*

I'm a little lost as to how I equip skills. In the skill list, I see some that are white and some that are grey, and I've read the Equipping Skills tutorial in the menu a few times and it's still not clicking.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Well...I'm just not sure HOW to equip them. I keep tapping the X button on the white skills but nothing's happening, and no matter how many times I win fights they don't increase in percentage (like, they have to be at 100% in order to use them).

Well...I don't know how to get them learned. Somehow I learned Observation for Adonis and Survival for Arngrim, but I don't know how to make the white skills in the triangle menu in the Equip menu do anything. How do I get them activated? Because so far they're all at 0% :/ forgive my retardation, I'm sure I'll be kicking myself once I figure it out.

At the beginning of Chapter 5 now, gotta head back to Dipan (again -_-) for some ghoul powder. The story has gotten really intense and dramatic, im thoroughly enjoying it.

Beat Odin last night, very interesting with the whole Lezard thing...but why did he switch Odin's spirit into Rufus' body (don't tell me or be as vague as possible if the reason is spoilerific for Chapter 6)? And why didn't he challenge Alicia's party since, as of right now, IMO, he is the main threat? Now I have to find Rufus' ring to materialize him...can someone tell me where it rolled to? Lol...

I was surprised that Lenneth tagged along. Do she, Hrist, and Brahms stay with you for the rest of the game? If so then yay. My party so far is Alicia, Lenneth, Hrist, and Adonis (my only Einherjar, who owns btw). Rufus and Arngrim were higher levels than Hrist and Lenneth but I really wanna give them a shot. And plus I'm using the EXP for all sealstone so no one's left out...still haven't learned any important skills (though now I know how...should work on getting that Training one you all keep raving about. I've just been reluctant up to now, I've really only equipped armor and weapons that upped stats, I rarely equip something that lowers some stats but ups others unless the decrease is not very much. Guess I'll just have to make some sacrifices :/)

Oi, the final boss is a pain in me arse, help! Anyone have a strategy that's better than Gamefaqs'?

My party is Alicia (68), Rufus (65), Arngrim (59), and Adonis (66). According to Gamefaqs, Lezard (or "Transendental Being") is level 63, so I should be in good shape, right? His stupid shield thing is annoying, and he hits hard. Every time I try to smack a combo on him, he Teleports to another part of the room. Just now though, after Rufus and Arngrim died and only Alicia and Adonis were left, I actually landed a combo on him and broke his shield, but I didn't have enough AP left to really hurt Lenneth's crystal prison thing. Anyone have any tips? I still have Mithra's water item thing that deals 10,000 damage, and I was saving it for the final fight...should I use it here? If so, when?

Ok, phase 1 of the final boss is a synch, but the second phase blows!

Why does my Alicia, who's now level 80, get reverted back to level 55 when she becomes Valkyrie? If she just stayed at level 80 this probably wouldn't be a problem. I let Rufus and Arngrim die off because only Valkyrie and Adonis do good damage (I even 'broke' Lezard at one point...was kind of shocked, but it didn't put me ahead by too much). I get more then halfway through Lezard's HP, and the last time I tried he didn't use the Nameless something-or-other spell for a long time, but that alone is what makes me lose. Someone give me strategy lol, I don't know why this fight is so hard when I'm like 10 levels higher than him!

Dallas was the one who pursuaded the king to "banish" Alicia to that tower you see her in at the beginning of the game. The king knew she was there, he just played dumb when the party saw him and the 3 mages for the first time in Dipan. According to Dallas, he truly loved her and was trying to find a way to make her "a whole person". Hope that clears things up for you.

Actually, Brahms never leaves your party. The three valkyries do, however. But you get them back in Seraphic Gate, at the same level as when they left you, after you beat Odin (or "Woden" as his name reads during the fight, he's the third boss you fight [first is Dirna Hamilton at the entrance, then Gabriel Celeste on the first floor, then Odin at the second floor]. My party for the rest of the game was Alicia, Rufus, Arngrim, and Adonis too, good choice!

Beat the game like an hour ago...

The ending was beautiful visually, despite it not having the same amazing graphics as the opening. I never played VP1, but this game has pursuaded me to find out what happens next, so I'll be purchasing VP1 for the PSP. It was a little unclear though...
1. Rufus takes Gugnir and returns it to Valhalla(?). Doesn't Odin somehow return for VP1? Where is he?
2. Brahms turns mortal and dies...but I've heard people say you fight him in VP1, even though he dies is Lezard's world which isn't Midgard(?).
3. Arngrim returns to Midgard with the Dragon Orb and restores the land(?).
4. The souls of Alicia, Hrist, Silmeria, and Lenneth disperse. The three Battle Maidens return to Valhalla and Alicia just...dissapears(?).
If anyone can explain these to me, that'd be great. Also, Lezard is is VP1 if I'm not mistaken, is there any contention between him and Lenneth throughout the story (since he had that creepy obsession with her)? Over all a great game, if FF12 can top this game's visuals I'll be very impressed and surprised.

One last thing. Since I'm replaying the game, I need to know something: are the Einherjars you find random? At Gamefaqs I see percentages next to their names and I don't know what that means (is it the percent chance of that Einherjar being the one you find?).
