Same thing with Mind Reader and Radioactive dude. Apparently their powers only really started increasing in strength after their abduction with Bennet. Therefore I can conclude that the reason Haitian and Bennet did not block Nathan's power was so that they could instead make him feel trapped. Trapped in such a way that he would have no other means of escape but to fly, basically using his power voluntarily, which he did. He's too much of a high profile person to be abducted and experimented on to manifest his abilities. Besides, he can already fly, how much more can they boost that? Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |

Most amazing jew boots ![]() |
I think Sylar's headgear was simply a remnant of one of the various invasive procedures that Bennet's doctor performed on Sylar. I am pretty sure that they would have to somehow get inside his head (Literally) to take samples and such. The metal device may be an extraction tube or something of that sort.
I guess the next episode will either feature Bennet evolving from Just-A-Human to Superpower-Daddy and maybe whooping Sylar or getting whooped, or the Haitian dude will pop up and say wassup. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
They've really put a lot of effort into off-show things haven't they? lol. All the blogs, comics, webpage thingies, etc
How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
Maybe Sylar found Mrs. Bennet incredibly annoying and was deciding which pleasure would be better, shutting her up or getting Claire's power. He probably didn't kill Mr. Bennet as he wanted him to know that his cared ones are all gonna be pushing up daises soon and that there is nothing he can do about it.
If you got locked up by some dude and experimented on, wouldn't you want to keep him alive and locked up while you wreck havoc in his life as the ultimate revenge? lol Somehow I do not think the Cockroach + Sylar was to deal with the radiation issue. If I recall, the reason why a cockroach can survive a nuclear explosion is because they are extremely smart at finding tiny knooks and crannies to hide in. Sylar probably studied the cockroach to learn about that playing dead abilitiy, why and how I have no idea though. This latest episode was so freaking cool. Especially with the Claude+Peter scenes lol I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() |
The Invisible man probably worked with Mr. Bennet in the past. That would explain Bennet's familiarity and why Claude knows so much about talented people. For example his exasperation when he discovered Peter was an Empath.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() |
Now Sylar has an even more nasty power. I wonder what it'll do to another human. *Shudders*. Suresh better get the frak outta there lol
Edit: On the latest episode I found it just downright depressing. I think its the most depressing Heroes episode so far. Claire's hopeful family union gets screwed over with greed and self preseveration, Matt gets whooped and ends up on another crap end of his job, Nikki's out doing hits for Lindy, Ando and Hiro got screwed over by a too tall lady, etc DEPRESSING FELIPE NO ![]()

The thing about Heroes is that you're always craving for the next episode. I for one am quite pissed at the little break but I know the show is worth it.
What I am a bit confused is, why have a break after the 18th episode? I take it there are like 4 more episodes for this first season, why break now then break after the end of Season 1? UNLESS THEY ARE NOT GOING ON A SEASON 1 -> 2 BREAK. But I doubt that. Hope Peter does something fancy, I would be downright disappointed if he did didly squat. How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
By the current trend of Heroes and TV show season endings, I am pretty sure it'll be a big OMG cliff hanger. Either someone gets hurt bad, a whole bunch of people appear, a new thread appears or potatoes start jumping (Ignore that last bit).
Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
What makes things a bit weird in this type of time travelling is that when Present Hero went to the Future, the Future was of a different time line that seemed to be unaffected by what the Present's course was. If they were directly connected wouldn' Future Hiro be anticipating the arrival of Present Hiro since he once was Present Hiro and went to the future?
Its just weird or maybe I've been watching too many Star Trek time paradox situations. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
A good finale no doubt, but it didn't live up to the hype that it created.
Nonetheless I'm still looking forward to Season 2. Something tells me we'll be getting weekly comic updates meanwhile. That would be so cool and nice of the producers. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
