Question about Dreamfall: Can you select the lenguage or is it just in English?
For the US build, it's in English, for the European builds it's in whatever language that the country it's sold in, speaks.

The one thing that I was pissed off with, was that I had pre-ordered the game from FunCom itself and I hadn't recieved my copy until a few days ago. (The game was supposed to ship on the 20th, but didn't finally ship until the 27th)

By this point, I had downloaded the cracked version, and when the actual game box had arrived here, I had already finished the game.

/End backstory

I had a fear that the transition from 2-d to complete 3-d worlds would be a daunting task for the series creators, but in the end those fears were misplaced. I do suspect that there was a lot in this game that was left on the cutting room floor, mostly due to the fact that rendering objects in 3d is a lot more time consuming and difficult than hand drawing the effect you want. I remember seeing some concept art for a train station for the Vactrax, and that element was left out in the final game. Visually the game is stunning, featuring a level of detail that was missed in the closely related, indigo prophecy.

Storywise the game feels like the creator channeled his inner David Lynch (see Twin Peaks). So many layers to decipher in the end. This is a game that some people would need two play-throughs to fully process all of the symbolism or hidden meanings and minor subtleties. Thank goodness the game is very short, so more than one play-through is not a long task. (and you can take the time to try out the different puzzle solutions and what changes when you select different dialogue choices, such as if you put Wonkers back together, you get extra dialogue at the end of the game)

Overall, the game was a very well built product, and I do hope that a sequel gets made which will hopefully resolve the story that seemed so very unhappy in the end.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Mayhaps, it's rather large (4.01 GB). Thus would take a while to upload. If you can find a place for me to put the game, then I'll send it over.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Well, you can download the torrent, but you can downthrottle the upload speed to really really low and then discontinue it after it's done. (Although, the P2P people will slap me silly for suggesting that)

And this doesn't seem like the place to be discussing this.... why not try the Private Message feature.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
