There are two things you need. You need an MCE compatible MPEG-2 codec (Any of the major DVD decoder programs will do, I reccomend WinDVD for it's ease of finding a copy of it) and you need an MCE compatible tv tuner driver for your card. (Most are) Once you have these two things, it should work. Then it should work (hopefully, this was how I fixed this issue when I got this error)
And the 2005 torrents are 2005, Microsoft screwed up and while it says 2002 in the System properties, it actually is 2005. I have a copy of 2004. and it still says version 2002. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
