The Eagles first team offense and defense looked great. The 2nd and 3rd teams didn't, but fortunately, the first team is all that really matters.

It's only preseason, but all you can ask is for the players to play great in the little time they are given. So pumped for football.

The Steelers traded for a RB today so Duce is probably out the door. It sucks because I loved him as an Eagle, but he has nothing left in the tank.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I'm not a big Culpepper fan, so I can't see the Dolphins going that far. They are everyone's cinderella team this season. The Steelers might win this game even without Roethlisberger. Simply for the wise guy factor. Everyone predicts them to lose and they win.

You can't win a Superbowl with Culpepper, I'm sorry. The Dolphins also have no o-line.

A very good Brian Dawkins career highlight mix. Even if you aren't an Eagles fan I think it's very well done and worth checking out. He's one of the greatest safeties who has ever played the game, and my personal favorite Eagle of all-time.

The Bucs won't get shut out every week. I don't think they are a great team, but they are a solid team. They should be competitive in the division. Especially if Smitty's hammy lingers for a lot of the season.

Atlanta impresses in random games every year. One game they'll go in and beat a tough team, and the next they'll lose at home to a team like the Packers(like 2005). I think the best defensive play wins that division.

Let me clarify before someone takes that in the wrong way. Branch isn't an average receiver, and Jackson probably isn't either(although always injured), but they aren't gamebreakers. They are solid guys, which is better than average. But they aren't stars.

Still, that's a pretty quality WR corps.

Worst Eagles loss in history of the regular season for me. For those that didn't see the game, the Eagles dominated from front to back for about 48 minutes and then fell COMPLETELY apart. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Our nickel corner who was starting in place of Lito today got hurt, Westbrook fumbles with 4 min left, Michael Lewis lets a fumble recovery slide out of his grasp and Tim Carter recovers it for a TD, a busted play on 4th and 1, LJ Smith drops a pass that would literally have ended end the game, but instead it gave the Giants life, Trent Cole has a personal foul call with 10 seconds left to make Jay Feely's 49 yard FG a 34 yarder.

17 points lost in about 13 minutes. What a fucking joke. We lost Kearse too for the season. Good thing we got a lot of depth on the lines.

It's losses like this that made me wish I was an alcoholic. Good thing we got San Fran next week. How the hell can you sack Manning 8 times, hold Tiki to under 100 total yards and under 80 yards rushing, and still lose the game? AHHHH

That really sucks about Simms. I think it's wishful thinking for Simms to come back this season. Rightfully so. I wouldn't want my QB coming back from a splenectomy for the sake of his health. That is no joke.

That was truely a great game. What an amazing finish. Bring on the Eagles.

I think it'll be a good game next week. The Eagles need a rebound after absolutely shooting themselves in the foot this week against the Saints. Costly mistakes and stupid plays blew a game we had won. Hopefully Stallworth and Hood will be back to play.

The Eagles usually don't play stupid like this, but for whatever reason we are this season.

Giants loss - Trent Cole kicks McKenzie in the crotch. 15 yard penalty, Jay Feely gets his FG moved 15 yards closer.

Saints loss - Tie ball game. Eagles stop Saints on a sack, which would result in a punt and Eagles getting the ball around 3:30-4min left. 12 men on the field. The 12th man(Omar Gaither) wasn't even near the sack and him being off the field would've resulted in a sack anyway. Saints have a 3rd and 5 instead of 4th and 15 and pick it up to win the game.

Bucs loss - McNabb throws a stupid pass to LJ Smith at the end of the half instead of throwing it out of the end zone and settling for a FG. Then Jerome McDougle kicks a penalty flag to give the Bucs 30 frickin total yards up the field.

It can make you pull your frickin hair out.

Since the Eagles suck and will continue to suck until Reid is fired and they actually get some defensive players in here, the best team to me looks like the Chargers right now. They are winning without Merriman and have the best balance of offense and defense IMO.

Man that game was too close for me. I knew it was going to be close though because Eagles Giants games are always dogfights. Next up we got a huge challenge on our hands. It won't be easy. It is the Eagles vs the world in this game. Everyone is pulling for NO because of katrina and because of the cinderella story.

Tough loss with dumb playcalls by Reid and bad defense. Very winnable game that will bug me the entire offseason. Oh well, I'm used to it being in Philly.

If the Eagles go out and get some defense in free agency, specifically DT and SAM LB, then this team will be much stronger next year. Oh and a strong safety too. Considine BLOWS.

The Saints are the wise-guy pick. I don't think they are that good. They barely beat the Eagles and they Eagles weren't that good... and I'm an Eagles fan. The only reason we made the playoffs was because the NFC sucked and we could string off key wins against the weak NFC at the end of the season. Our run defense was pathetic all year and the Giants just weren't good enough to exploit it. The Saints did.

But the Saints defense sucks and I don't think the'll be able to handle the cold loud Chicago environment.

It depends. I could see Manning choking in the Superbowl against a tough Bears defense, but if the Patriots make it I think they win regardless of who gets there from the NFC.

I was 1/2 in my picks. I loved the Bears in that game, but had the Pats too. Everyone will be predicting a Colts blowout but I think Bears play it close and maybe win it.
