Things you completely grew out of when you were in your teens

What are some things you were into when you were in your teens that you completely grew out of later? Some people grow out of them in their early 20's and some people it takes until their late 20's. Some people never grow out of things at all.

For me, when I was in my early teens like 13ish on to around 17ish, I tried to be a hardass all the time. I also was into rap music hardcore. I also tried to act like I was too good to respect women, and talked down to them. I also used to do a lot of mischievous things, like egg people's houses. I also was extremely insecure about myself. I worried way too much about what people thought of me. I admit, that I was a punk kid in my teens, but right now I'm the total opposite.

I hate rap music now, and am extremely humble, and am very respectful to women, and people's property. I also am the total opposite of insecure now. I don't care what anyone thinks of me, I just always try to be the best person I can be. I guess it's all part of growing up. Some people never do, but I was lucky to, because looking back at how I was now, I hate that type of person now.

Also there are minor things that I grew out of like hair styles, etc. Now I just get my head shaved, when in my up to about 16 I used to care a lot about combing my hair.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

It has nothing to do with delinquency, I just don't like it anymore, and I don't like what the music for the most part represents. Violence, drugs, etc.

Of course there is some rap music that has good lyrics, but I still don't prefer it as music.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I actually think I might be outgrowing RPGs. At first I thought it was lack of quality titles, but I can't even finish Kingdom Hearts 2. It's inconceivable that I would outgrow them because I was a HUGE RPG nut, but I just might be getting bored of them.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Outgrowing can mean changing preferences. If you no longer like a specific genre of something, you outgrow it. It doesn't only mean that you are too old for it, it simply means that you've grown tired of it, and grown out of liking it.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

You also contradict yourself when you talk about how you matured, so you no longer like rap.

You are taking the definition too literally. I'm talking about outgrowing stuff with age, but also outgrowing different tastes. However you really changed since your teen years.

I was speaking idiomatically.
