Just checking in. FFXII is going to be the first RPG I've bought in about a year, so I'm very much looking forward to it. To me FFX-2 was a disgrace, so I hope this can rebound.

My thoughts on the game:
Solid game so far, but I'm not digging the characters at all, Vaan is just ugh, and the battle system doesn't seem to flow as well as I'd like. I'm baffled as to why Square has abandoned making heroes badasses. I miss the days of Cecil, Kain, Cloud, hell even Celes was badass, as a female character. The battles aren't as fun as they could be, because I'm just not eager to fight with a character like Vaan. Still a good game though, but I miss the old character types... There's nowhere I can't reach.

Solid game so far, but IMO the dungeons are getting repetitive. It sorta reminds me of the Dark Cloud is with these dungeons.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
