I've seen up to #11 and I'm loving it. I'm loving all the drama and mind games. I'll have to check out the manga next time I'm in the book store.

I also thought episode 8's potato chip scene was hilarious.

I haven't kept up with Viz's track record do they have a reputation
for taking forever to release DVDs?

The mangaka just abandon the manga for good? Was it an abrupt stop in the story as to make readers scream "Wtf! Where's the rest?!"

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

The contrast was kind of funny between that insane deathrock song and the calm anouncer lady. Her saying "grand sponser" has always cracked me up.

The new opening animation is cool but I don't like the song, all the intense screaming.

I was reminded of Jesus washing other's feet and was thinking of the possible significance of the scene... But the yaoi vibe of it overwhelmed any other ideas and all I could think about was the thousands of yaoi fangirls screaming in unison. Whatever significance it could have had it just felt like fanservice in the end.

I'm going to miss L he was a interesting personality. I guess I'll keep watching to see Kira get his.

Everyone is saying it's impossible to fit the rest of the manga into 10 episodes while I don't know as I've not read the manga, but hearing that makes me uneasy about how the rest of the series is going to turn out.
